For my last intaglio project I had to make a print incorporating color on a song of my choosing.  I wasn’t allowed to be literal with the lyrics and was told to focus on the sound.  After much debate I decided to base a print on Jack White’s cover of U2’s “Love is Blindness.”  Personally the structure of the song plus Jack White’s howling made me think of the idea of falling forever.  So I went with the image of falling figures on a dark blue background which I feel gives the sense of infinite space.
