The disco ball in terms of artistic subject matter has become one of my biggest fascinations in the past 6 months or so.

This piece finally came together last Tuesday. My friend Chris helped me install and I couldn’t be any happier with how it came out minus a few minor details. I opted to play the “Orchestral Intro” from the Gorillaz album Plastic Beach and the piece was well received. I got a laugh out of the fact that my professor kept on calling a song from 2010 classical music but I didn’t bother to correct him because I found it to be a good thing. I took some video that didn’t turn out to great so I may or may not be uploading that later on in the future. Hope you like it.
This is currently a work in progress. When the piece is done it’ll be displayed in a dark room the disco ball rotating at 1 rpm with a spotlight on it.
